Help bring Paul Taylor to Spring Creek!
The PTO is organizing a raffle to raise money for Paul’s visit in April. Our first place prize is a photograph by Brett Deacon, "Fallen Aspen Leaves" (canvas print, 28 x 36.5 inches), which is valued at $400. Our second place prize is an Art Set, and the third place prize is a gift certificate to Cloud 9 Frozen Yogurt. The drawing will be held after our Art Open House on March 13th. TRIMESTER 2 REPORT CARDS
Report cards were sent home with students Wednesday, March 5th! If you did not receive a copy, please contact our office. We are so proud of all our students!
YOUTH ART MONTH OPEN HOUSE
In celebration of “Youth Art Month”, art work is covering the halls and filling our display cases. The students are excited about showing off their artistic talents! Please join us from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13th.
In addition, our PTO will be selling raffle tickets for a beautiful color print and Spring Creek Student Council is holding a BAKE SALE - Yum!
STUDENTS TO TAKE PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENTS
Students are gearing up for PAWS (Proficiency Assessments of Wyoming Students). Students in grades 3 – 5 will participate. The testing window is March 3 – March 28, 2014. To help your child be successful, please make sure he/she gets a good night’s sleep and eats a nutritional breakfast. Testing schedules will vary within each classroom. To avoid classroom interruption, please try to schedule appointments after school throughout the testing window.
